Liberal, Kansas and the surrounding area is pro-business, with a unique cooperation between government and business that allows business to thrive. The Liberal area offers many benefits to manufacturers who create high quality employment opportunities and business investment.

Economic Development funds are set aside to assist a company based on performance and job development. Whether it comes in the form of industrial revenue bonds, tax abatements, infrastructure, land or actual cash assistance. A package tailored in any combination to best fit the company that is selected. The City of Liberal will offer to apply for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding and make these funds available to the company. All this make a very attractive package for potential businesses looking to locate in the Liberal area.

Kansas Department of Commerce -- Business Development / Trade Development Divisions has many programs available that offer incentives for tax credits, workforce training, financial assistance and international trade assistance.
