The museum serves the public in numerous ways, from hosting special
events to renting out its two available meeting rooms (on a limited
basis). Those wishing to rent a meeting room must call (620) 624-5263
for more information about availability, fees, and scheduling.

with the Director (April 24, 2008)

S. Tucker Library. A forum for the free and open discussion of
aviation and museum topics. Free coffee and donuts. Sponsored
by Daylight Donuts of Liberal.
Great Mid-America
Golf Ball Drop (May 17, 2008)
1:00 PM in the south
parking lot. To raise funds for Command Performance: Salute
to Vietnam Veterans, MAAM is partnering with Lyddon Aero Center
on a golf ball drop from a helicopter. The numbered ball making
a hole-in-one or falling closest to the pin will win the top prize
of $1,000.00 for the contestant holding the like numbered ticket.
Second prize is two round trip tickets to Denver, courtesy of
Great Lakes Airlines. $10.00 per ball or $50.00 for six balls.
Depending on weather, concessions and entertainment will be in
the south parking lot or the General Welch Theater. These activities
will start at noon or slightly before as necessary.
